E. Brinton Wright III, 72, died Jan. 17, 2011, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Newark, Del., and he lived in Vero Beach for eight years, coming from Gibson Island, Md. He served in the Coast Guard.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Vero Beach. He was a member of the Ocean City Light Tackle Club in Ocean City, Md., the Moorings Club in Vero Beach, and the Indian River Medical Center Foundation Board.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Paula F. Wright, of Vero Beach; daughters, Rachel H. Waltjen, of Pasadena, Md., Courtney F. Wright, of Berlin, Md.; mother, Marjorie C. Wright, of Greenville, Del.; brother, Norris P. Wright, of Greenville, Del.; and sister, Penny W. Smith, of Greenville, Del.

A service to celebrate his life will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 21 at the First Baptist Church, Vero Beach.
