Nanette Hatfield Hicks, 85, of Hendersonville, NC, and formerly of Vero Beach, Fla., and Fenton, Mich., passed away Friday, March 4, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence James Hicks; a son, Chuck Hicks; and a sister, Katie Dahlstrom.
She was a member of the Flint Junior League. She was an avid tennis player, horseback rider, loved to play golf, was a creative at crafts.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Hicks, of Hendersonville, and Kim (Wayne) Hicks, of Hendersonville; a son, Mike Hicks, of Lansing, Mich.; a sister, Sue Morley of Boca Raton, Fla.; three grandsons, Derek Riddlemoser and Jason Hicks and his fiancé Kelly, and Christopher Hicks; a special niece, Karen Gleason and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A private service was held.
