The Vero Beach Museum of Art welcomes families to its annual Children’s Art Festival on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This FREE, all-ages event invites guests to spend the day making art, exploring the galleries, and enjoying live performances.
Families are invited to create art with VBMA teaching artists through special hands-on activities inspired by American Made: Paintings and Sculpture from the DeMell Jacobsen Collection, now on view. In the galleries, VBMA docents will facilitate additional family-friendly activities and tours.
Live performances throughout the day will feature local youth groups, including Music Angels Education Fund, Gifford Academy for the Performing Arts, Ocean Youth Orchestra, and Riverside Theatre Student Touring Troupe.
Food trucks will be on-site, offering meals, snacks, and refreshments for purchase.
