VERO BEACH — First United Methodist Church, located at 1750 20th St. in Vero Beach, is hosting its second annual inspirational women’s event. This year it is entitled Shine The Light and will take place on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. until Noon in the sanctuary.
Shine The Light is a half-day event designed for women of all ages.
A refreshment time of “Muffins & Mugs” will be served in the Christian Life Center mid-morning.
This year’s guest speaker will be the Rev. Susan Haupert-Johnson, a United Methodist minister from the Ocala area and well-known women’s speaker within the Florida Annual Conference.
“God delivered me from my previous career as a trial lawyer by calling me into ordained ministry,” Haupert-Johnson replied in regard to her calling.
Music for this special program will be provided by Rebecca Holbrook Loar and accompanist Kelly Coppage.
