Helen N. Hanlon 88, died Feb. 9, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Sherman, Conn., and moved to Sebastian.
She worked for several years at S. Curtis & Sons in Sandyhook, Conn., and was a caregiver at Southbury Training School in Southbury.
Survivors include her husband, George F. Hanlon; son, George Nelson, of Marbledale, Conn.; sisters, Julia, Frances, Dorothy and Katherine; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be at noon Feb. 11 at the Roseland United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are by Fountainhead Funeral Home, Palm Bay.
