Arnold T. Aho, 90, Vero Beach

Arnold T. Aho, 90, died Feb. 9, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center.

He was born in Humboldt, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach for three years, coming from Michigan.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Before retirement, he was employed as an engineer by General Motors.

He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans in Michigan.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathryn Ray, of Vero Beach; son, Arnold W. Aho, of Washington, Mich.; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia; and daughters, Barbara and Constance.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 26 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vero Beach, with a reception to follow in the parish hall.

Burial will be at a later date in the Utica Cemetery in Michigan.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
