VERO BEACH — On June 3, Community Church of Vero Beach recognized the 2012-2013 recipients of the John J. and Robert D. Post Scholarship. This scholarship was established in 2003 by Dick and Helen Post and is in memory of their sons, John and Robert.
The scholarship recipients were: Derek Hiegel, Brooke MacMillan, Carolyn Martz, Kendal Loewendick, Jayme Snyder, Ayianna Bailey, Megan Kroh, and Lauren Bieber. Congratulations to all.
Since its inception, the scholarship has awarded over $105,000 in scholarships to 49 graduating seniors in our community who are members of Community Church of Vero Beach.
The scholarships awarded are not only based on their GPA, but also their involvement within the church and surrounding community.
