INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A tree company worker has broken bones after falling at least 10 feet from a bucket truck Thursday, fire rescue crews said.
Indian River County Fire Rescue crews responded to the incident at 10:17 a.m. in the 1100 block of 20th Street, Battalion Chief Kyle Kofke said. The man fell 10 to 15 feet at a worksite.
Kofke said the man, in his 30’s, suffered a possible broken leg and other broken bones. The man was conscious when he was taken by ambulance to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce with serious injuries, Kofke said.
It was unclear what town the man lives in. No further details were immediately available.
