Merinda Lawrence, age 43, of Okeechobee passed away on August 10, 2026, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born in Vero Beach on November 29, 1982, and graduated from Sebastian River High School in 2002. Merinda is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Throughout her long journey, Merinda faced each challenge with remarkable strength, grace, and perseverance. She will be remembered for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the courage she showed through even the most difficult days. Her spirit was defined not by her illness, but by the kindness, warmth, and resilience she brought to those around her. She treasured the people she loved and leaves behind memories that will continue to bring comfort and inspiration.
She loved all outdoor activities camping side by side riding traveling with Burt and family vacations, dinner with friends and rodeo’s, especially ABBI Futurity events.
Survivors include her loving husband, Burt Lawrence; mother, Debra (Doug) Leggett; father, Robert “Hippy Bob” Ciriclio; brothers, David Ciriclio, Raymond Ciriclio and Bryar Ciriclio; sister, Felicia (Michael) Ruehman; aunts, Mary Sapp and Dorothy Cominsky; uncles, Dominic Ciriclio, James Padgett and Melvin Padgett; two close best friends, Kaylee Barber and Nieves Lanier.
Her passing is a profound loss to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though her life was far too short, Merinda’s impact was lasting, and her memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 South Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL. A service celebrating Merinda’s life will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow Sebastian City Cemetery.

Miguel was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather who cherished the simple things in life. He loved playing his guitar, sharing his music, and spending time watching his favorite cowboy movies. These were some of the moments that brought him happiness and reflected the person he was.
Miguel will now be reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Rosa Claudio, and his parents, Jose Guadalupe Claudio and Ampelia Trujillo. We find comfort in knowing that he is once again with those he loved and missed dearly.
He will always be remembered for the memories he created, the love he gave, and the special place he held in the lives of his family and friends. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to live on through the people who loved him.
Miguel will be deeply missed and forever loved. Forever in our hearts, forever in our memories, and never forgotten.

Roger “Sonny” Coleman Miles Jr., 84, Sebastian

Roger “Sonny” Coleman Miles Jr., 84, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
Born on January 5, 1942, in North East, Maryland, Sonny proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for six years before continuing his career at General Motors for over 30 years. After retirement he worked for NASCAR, which he was an avid fan. In his early years, Sonny enjoyed scuba diving and spearfishing with the Diamond State Skindiving Club in Wilmington, Delaware.
Sonny joined the North East Fire Company, North East, Maryland on March 2, 1958 and was granted Honorary Lifetime Membership in the year of 2017.
Above all, Sonny’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Margaret Miles, sons, Bryan Miles, wife (Terry), of Bear, Delaware, and Brandon Miles, Sebastian, Florida. His love for them was endless, and the memories they created together will forever be treasured.
In addition, Sonny was a devoted grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Miles, Wilmington, Delaware and Logan Thomas Miles, Bear, Delaware and sister, Linda Nimtz, Okatie, South Carolina.
Roger “Sonny” Coleman Miles Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Roger Coleman Miles Sr., mother, Doris Miles and sister, Wilma Vant Hoff.

She shared 63 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Richard Blanchette. Together they built a beautiful family. She was a deeply loving mother to her three children: Michael, David, and Brenda. Her legacy of warmth and kindness will live on through her six grandchildren—Richard, Carsen, Kasey, Samuel, Christina, and Juliet—and her three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Phillip, and Dylan.
Carole was a woman of profound knowledge and endless compassion. She was the cornerstone of her family and the person everyone naturally turned to for advice. She was remarkably smart, endlessly loving, and always knew exactly how to guide those she cared for.
She found immense joy in the simple, quiet beauties of the world. She truly loved growing flowering plants, bringing the vibrant beauty of nature into her life and the lives of others. She could often be found admiring her flowers and watching the birds, finding peace in the nature she so carefully cultivated.
Though she will be deeply missed, the seeds of love and wisdom she planted in her family will continue to bloom for generations to come.

She was born to the late Frank Rogers and Ethel Wilkenson on April 1, 1944, in Essex, England. She married her husband Ronald Mike Sr. in 1985 in Andover, CT. They lived in Connecticut and spent winters in Florida until 2019 when they moved to Sebastian full-time.
Janet cherished the time she spent surrounded by her family, especially gathering everyone together and preparing homemade meals filled with love. She had a true passion for creativity, finding joy in painting and teaching ceramics to others. She also treasured the friendships she made at Whispering Palms, and enjoyed many fun-filled games of bingo with her friends. One of her greatest joys was the companionship of her beloved golden retriever, Rambo, who was a very special part of her life.
Janet is predeceased by her daughter PattyAnn McCabe. She is survived by her beloved husband Ronald Mike Sr. She is also survived by her children Karen Martin, of Spartanburg, SC; Loni (John) Ruggiero, of Glastonbury, CT; Ronald (Susan) Mike Jr, of Columbia, CT; Christopher Mike, of Andover, CT; TracyLynn (Daniel) Blood, of Palm Bay, FL. In addition, Janet is survived by her grandchildren Stephen (Amy) Biduk; Katherine (Christopher) Biduk-Cheng; Meaghan (Lane) Biduk-McGalliard; Olivia Wulfekuhl; Nicholas (Gabriella Tuxbury) Ruggiero; Brandon Ruggiero; Benjamin (Kyleen) Mike; Thomas (Myriah) Mike; William (Erin) Mike; MacKenzie Mike; Chloe Mike; Zachary (Renee) Blood; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
