Richard Coe Ryan of Vero Beach, Florida (formerly Williamstown, New York), passed away at age 90 on January 25, 2026.  Affectionately known as “Dick” he was born in Oswego, New York on November 13, 1935, and spent much of his childhood in Camden, New York.  His parents were Richard Glenn and Vietta Frances (Coe) Ryan, who resided in Camden for many years and predeceased him.

He graduated from Camden Central School in 1953 and Paul Smith’s College in 1955, with a degree in Forestry.  In early 1956, he began serving his country in the United States Army Corps of Engineers with duty stations in the United States and Japan.  Early in his military service he climbed Mount Rainier in the state of Washington (14,410’), one of the highest mountains in the contiguous United States.  He served as a construction surveyor with the United States Army Engineer Group on the island of Okinawa, Japan, for nearly 3 years.  In 1958, he married Fujiko Tokiyoshi, who he met while stationed in Okinawa.  They shared over 41 years of marriage until her passing in 1999.

After retirement from civil service, he formed his own business, RYAN’s COMPANY, a forensic real estate investigative consultant services firm based in Laurel, New York; on Long Island where he raised his family and lived for 30 years.  He loved living on Long Island with he and Fujiko enjoying time fishing on the waterways in and around Suffolk County, and on outings with the East End Surf Fishing Club.  He served many years as a volunteer chairman of the land preservation programs for the Town of Southold in Suffolk County, New York.

In 2003, he fully retired from his business and moved to Williamstown, New York where he rediscovered high school sweetheart, Carol Jeanne Delarm, who he married in 2004 with her later predeceasing him in 2013.  His years of retirement were spent at his residence in Williamstown or, during the winter months, at his second residence in Vero Beach.  He had recently become a full-time resident of Vero Beach in October 2025.

Judith “Judy” Mazzucca, 69, Vero Beach

March 30, 1956 – January 31, 2026

Judith “Judy” Mazzucca”, a woman of fierce independence, a sun-seeker, and a devoted matriarch, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 69.

Born on March 30, 1956, Judy was known for her sharp wit and her unwavering honesty—you always knew exactly where you stood with Judy, and her friends and family loved her all the more for it. She dedicated 27 years of her professional life to Prudential, where her hard work and reliability were constants. However, if you asked Judy about her greatest legacy, she wouldn’t point to her career; she would point to her sons, David and Bill. Her role as a mother was her proudest achievement and the heartbeat of her life.

In her later years, Judy followed the warmth, retiring to Vero Beach, Florida. There, she spent her days exactly as she loved: soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace of the coast. A true lover of music, Judy was happiest in the crowd of a live concert, feeling the energy of the performance.

While she was known for her grit and independence, Judy also possessed a remarkably large heart. She was the friend who showed up, the one who offered help without being asked, and a steady presence for those she loved.

Judy is reunited in peace with her late husband, William. Her legacy of strength and love continues through her sons, David and Bill; her cherished partner of six years, Vinny; her daughter-in-laws, Jordan and McKenzie. She was the proud grandmother to Charlee and Cooper, who brought her immense joy and will grow up hearing stories of their grandmother’s independent spirit and generous heart.
