GIFFORD — A Vero Beach motorcyclist was hurt in a two-vehicle crash that briefly blocked southbound U.S. 1 at 45th Street late Tuesday, Indian River County sheriff’s officials said.

The wreck involving a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle and a gray 2005 Pontiac happened at U.S. 1 and 45th Street, not far from Cumberland Farms convenience store, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
