Thanksgiving options for those who don’t feel like cooking

Whether your gathering will be larger or smaller than usual, there’s still plenty to be grateful for and to enjoy this Thanksgiving. And you still have plenty of options.

If you are craving a turkey dinner but would prefer to dine out, we have some suggestions (and several of these restaurants offer “to-go” options as well).

And if you want to dine at home but don’t feel up to cooking a turkey or baking from scratch this year, below are some tasty “to-go” options that should make your Thanksgiving dinner as joyful and stress-free as possible.

 

Top restaurants offering Thanksgiving Dinner

Amalfi Grille will be serving a traditional turkey dinner with all the fixings and a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie for $38 per person. Dinner will be served from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Reservations are suggested. To-go orders must be placed by Nov. 25. 772-564-8218.

Maison Martinique is offering a three-course traditional roast-turkey feast with a choice of appetizers and assorted seasonal pies for dessert for $45 per person. Brunch and dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Reservations required. To-go orders must be placed by Nov. 22. 772-231-7211.

The Wave Kitchen & Bar at Costa d’Este is offering dine-in brunch and dinner options or family-style dinners to-go. The To-go Family Style Dinner serves 4 to 6 people and includes a whole herb-butter roasted turkey, Southern-cornbread stuffing, country-mashed potatoes, roasted seasonal vegetables, cranberry-orange chutney, sweet-potato casserole, rolls, gravy, a pumpkin pie, and a bottle of red or white wine for $150. For 10 to 12 people, the price is $265 and includes a pecan pie and a bottle each of red and white wine. To-go orders must be placed 48 hours in advance. Cobalt at the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa is offering a somewhat more exotic Thanksgiving menu that features turducken ballotine and concludes with a pumpkin-and-apple-pie turtle roulade for $100 per person from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Reservations required. 772-469-1060.

Trattoria Dario is offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings and a choice of apple or pumpkin pie for dessert for $35 per person. The restaurant will be open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. To-go orders are welcome. Seating will be available on the patio or inside. Reservations are recommended. 772-231-1818.

Di Mare is offering a turkey platter that includes dark and white meat with all the fixings for $30 per person. To satisfy your sweet tooth, a selection of holiday pies will be added to their usual homemade dessert menu. The restaurant will be open from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Seating will be available on the patio or inside. Reservations are recommended. 772-234-2809.

Southern Social Kitchen & Bar is offering a traditional turkey and sides Thanksgiving dinner with a southern twist, concluding with a choice of sweet potato, pecan or pumpkin pie for $39 per person. To-go orders are welcome. Reservations are suggested. 772-205-2212.

Mo-Bay Grill in Sebastian will be serving a four-course meal with your choice of sweet-butter turkey breast original or jerk style, and concluding with a choice of coconut-rice pudding or chocolate mousse, for $29.99 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. To-go orders are welcome. The SeaGrape banquet room at Disney Vero Beach will be serving an all-you-care-to-eat family style Thanksgiving dinner for $40 per person over age 10 and $20 ages 9 and under. Dinner will be available from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Reservations are required. opentable.com.

The Tiffany Room at Capt. Hiram’s in Sebastian is offering a choice of plated or buffet Thanksgiving dinner with sides and concluding with choice of pumpkin, Key lime or apple pie for $29 per person, $15 for children 12 and under. Seatings available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations are required. 772-388-8588.

Thanksgiving dinner to go

Elizabeth D. Kennedy & Company is offering to-go meals with turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, and a medley of haricot vert and carrots. The turkeys feed up to 15 people, and the sides serve 10. Turkey, stuffing and gravy are $225, and side dishes are $60 each. Small containers of side dishes will be available for purchase on Nov. 24 and 25. To-go orders must be placed by Nov. 21 with pickup between 10 a.m. and noon on Thanksgiving Day. 772-563-0646.

Ryder’s Gourmet Market is offering a whole roasted turkey that serves 10 for $39.99 with side options of roasted butternut-squash soup, field greens and garden vegetable salad, roasted apple-cornbread stuffing, cranberry-ginger-rosemary compote, whipped potatoes, Southern sweet-potato casserole, green-bean casserole, Brussels sprouts roasted with bacon, turkey gravy and rolls available for $9.99 per quart. Chelsea’s Gourmet Market & Cafe has a wide variety of to-go options. A la carte sides, hors d‘oeuvres; Thanksgiving dinner for two at $45.99, for eight at $179.99 or for 12 at $259.99. Options include nutella bread pudding; apple, Key lime or pumpkin pie. Pickup from 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. To-go orders must be placed by Nov. 23. 772-234-8300.

Wild Thyme Catering is cooking up Thanksgiving dinner. The meal includes rolls, a mixed green salad, French-cut turkey breast with gravy, stuffing, Brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze and bacon, mashed potatoes with herb-sour cream, collard greens, sweet-potato casserole, cranberry sauce, and green beans with toasted almonds for $30 per person. At Alimentari Gourmet Market in the Village Shops, the Thanksgiving dinner selections include butter or roasted turkey breast with gravy, sage and sausage stuffing, green-bean casserole, cranberry relish, cornbread and butter for $20 per person. Pumpkin, pecan and apple pie are available for $20/whole or $4/slice. Orders must be placed by Nov. 20 and can be picked up on Nov. 25 from noon to 6 p.m. 772-999-5483.

Counter Culture is offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with organic roasted turkey and gravy, and sides including roasted garlic-whipped potatoes, sweet-potato gratin with baby marshmallow, roasted Brussels sprouts, sage and thyme stuffing, and a slice of pumpkin pie for $24.95 per person.
