INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Indian River County Council PTA will host the Education Forum with District 54 Florida State Representative candidates Erin Grall, Dale Glading, and Lange Sykes at Sebastian River High School’s Performing Arts Center (PAC), on Jan. 28.
Laura Zorc, Indian River County Council PTA President, will be moderating the forum, which will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The forum will cover education topics relating to school grades, assessments, literacy, early childhood education, charter positions, and classroom size amendments.
School District of Indian River County Board Members Charles Searcy and Shawn Frost will be in attendance and will be among those presenting questions to the candidates.
Also in attendance and presenting questions about the Moonshot Moment will be Ray Oglethorpe, The Learning Alliance Board Chairman.
The event is free and open to the public. The PTA is asking for donations in the amount of $5 which will go toward a scholarship fund.
