Bent Pine Golf Club to hold 3rd annual Kenny Perry Invitational March 23

VERO BEACH — The Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach is making plans to host the 3rd annual Kenny Perry Invitational on Monday, March 23. This year’s event is enhanced by the addition of 1986 PGA Champion and Ryder Cup Captain, Paul Azinger.

Azinger will team up with one of the PGA Tours all-time money leaders, Kenny Perry, to help raise funds to support the playing aspirations of the Bent Pine Assistant Professionals and the Indian River County Boys and Girls Club.

A clinic conducted by Perry and Azinger will kick off the event. Both golf legends will then play nine holes with Bent Pine members. A dinner featuring Perry and Azinger with a question and answer session will complete the day’s festivities.

Perry worked on the Bent Pine golf staff 35 years ago, when he was also working to secure his PGA Tour card. He not only comes back to Bent Pine to support the tournament that is named in his honor; he also utilizes the club each fall to work on his game in preparation for the PGA Tour schedule.

From its inception, Bent Pine’s family has been comprised of outstanding and friendly members and staff. Continuing an honored tradition during this anniversary celebration, community members will be invited to come and enjoy the culture and legacy of the Bent Pine experience.
