Vintage organ held for McKee Garden’s ‘Nights of Lights’ Dec. 27-29

VERO BEACH — One of the most popular attractions of McKee Botanical Garden’s “Holidays at McKee” event, a fully-restored 1924 Wurlitzer band organ, will be held over for its “Nights of Lights” event on December 27, 28 and 29.

“Nights of Lights” will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This post-holiday event is perfect for those entertaining out of town guests or people who are simply too consumed with commitments and obligations before the holidays.

In addition to enjoying the organ’s lively music, Garden visitors can take a leisurely stroll along candlelit pathways and see majestic palms adorned with sparkling lights. McKee’s historic structures will be festively decorated and special lighting displays exclusive to this event will be staged in the Garden’s ponds and waterways. Visitors can also enjoy an additional viewing of McKee’s large-scale model railroad display.

“The holiday season is about creating memories and sharing special moments with friends and loved ones,” stated McKee Botanical Garden Executive Director Christine Hobart. “‘Nights of Lights’ is a chance for generations of families to gather and experience the spirit of the season at McKee.”

The Garden Gift Shop will be open throughout the event and Osceola Bistro at the Garden Café will have a select menu of seasonal treats available.

“Nights of Lights” visitors can save time and gain easy entry by purchasing tickets in advance at Garden Admissions during regular business hours.

General admission rates apply. For more information, please visit www.mckeegarden.org or call (772) 794-0601.
