Sunshine Laundries’ holiday washes benefit Boys and Girls Club

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Sunshine Laundries customers will have the chance to support the Boys and Girls Club of Indian River County this year between Thanksgiving and Christmas just by washing clothes.

Sunshine Laundries is donating 25 percent of its gross proceeds from a select washer at its Miracle Mile location this Thanksgiving through Christmas to the Boys and Girls Club of Indian River County.

The participating location is at 485 21st Street, on Miracle Mile in the Treasure Coast Plaza.

This is the second year that the laundromat has hosted the “Christmas Washer Blessing” initiative to raise money, and awareness, for the Boys and Girls Clubs.

“I thought this was a unique way to raise money for the local causes that my employees care about, and the only thing our customers have to do is use the designated washer,” explained Tom Rhodes, owner of all seven Treasure Coast locations of Sunshine Laundries. “How much easier can it get?”

The laundromat is open seven days a week and wireless internet is available. For more information, visit www.sunshinelaundries.com.
