VERO BEACH – Vero Beach resident Harry Howle has officially qualified to run in the City of Vero Beach City Council election, bringing the candidate pool to seven.
Three seats are up for election this year and are currently held by Council members Jay Kramer, Pilar Turner and Craig Fletcher.
Kramer and Turner have qualified to run for re-election, joining Charlie Wilson, Brian Heady, Jack Shupe and Randy Old, who have filed to run.
The qualifying period began on Aug. 21 and closes at 5 p.m. on Sept. 5.
