INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) will host an Entrepreneur Summit in Indian River County to bring together various entrepreneurs from across the 15th Congressional District to showcase their innovative technologies to the public and potential investors. The Entrepreneur Summit will take place at the Richardson Center at Indian River State College’s Mueller Campus on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to Noon.
“This is a great opportunity for Treasure Coast entrepreneurs to showcase their new products and innovative technologies to the public and potential investors with the goal of creating jobs and new businesses in the local area,” said Congressman Posey.
“Start-up companies with sufficient financial resources are an important source of new jobs for our region. We expect the Research Coast Entrepreneur Summit held at IRSC’s Mueller Campus will provide a unique opportunity for innovative new companies to connect with investors to enhance their business success and support our region’s economic strength,” said Dr. Edwin R. Massey, IRSC President.
“We anticipate exceptional presentations from these aspiring young companies during the summit,” said Michael Corbit, Business Projects Consultant for Workforce Solutions – Florida’s Research Coast. “We are glad to provide an opportunity for each of these entrepreneurs to solicit input and feedback from the local investment community on how to grow their business.”
The agenda includes a keynote address by Congressman Bill Posey and a presentation by Vinny Olmstead, CEO of Bridgevine, Inc. Other speakers include the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce and Florida Venture Forum. Presentations will be conducted by seven participating companies which include:
