Minter Wyatt Thompson, 91, Feb. 21, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Norfolk, Va., and moved to Vero Beach in 1980, coming from Key Biscayne.
He worked as a regional manager in the railroad industry and worked for the CSX Corp. and Seaboard Coastline Railroad.
He was a member of The Moorings Club, Vero Beach Country Club and the Rotary Club in Miami.
Survivors include his daughters; Diana L. Hartma,n of Miami, and Robin Dunkin-Smith, of Coppell, Texas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sallie Bond Thompson; and brother, JB Thompson. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services will be at a later date in Virginia.
Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
