Charles Simon Schlosser, 93, died Feb. 23, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born to in Lindenhurst, N.Y., and lived in Florida for 20 years, coming from Copiague, N.Y.
Before retiring, he worked in sales for the snack food company, Wise.
He served in the 8th Army Air Force of the Army Air Forces during World War II.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Eileen; and sisters, Clementine Mueller, Marie Schlichting and Frances DiStasi.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen; sister, Elizabeth Whealey; and brothers, Henry, Philipp and Edward Schlosser.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y.
