VERO BEACH — The Studio, located at 2044 14th Avenue in historic downtown Vero Beach in The Theater Plaza, will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting event on Wednesday, February 16 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The Studio is the collaboration of four talented individuals that have joined forces to create a new way to plan events in the Treasure Coast Area. Collaborators in The Studio include Alba Vasquez, Alba Events, Andres Aguilar, Mystique Flowers, Susie Canino, PS Photography and Kathy Hurt, Coconuts Creative.
The event, open to the public, will kick off with a ribbon cutting, and include a designer fashion show as well as refreshments, appetizers and sweets. Guests can purchase raffle tickets for fun prizes that will benefit Safespace Foundation and Kidz Closet Charities.
With over 50 years of combined event planning experience, the fabulous four look forward to creating innovative events with sophisticated flare providing one-stop services from start to finish, including event design and theme development, floras, décor, photography and cinematography, to name a few.
SafeSpace, a non-profit United Way organization serving victims of domestic abuse in Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties, provides emergency shelter with two 24 bedroom facilities and outreach services to individuals who have not entered a shelter but whose lives are being affected by domestic violence.
Kidz Closet Charities, a 501c3 nonprofit organization formed in 2009, provides clothing and items to women and children in Indian River County who are in need and at risk.
