George “Ed” Zarb, 77, died Feb. 28, 2010, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Detroit and lived in Vero Beach for seven years, coming from Palm Beach Gardens.
He was an Air Force veteran. Before retiring, he was an engineer for Ford Motor Co.
He was a member of the Detroit Yacht Club and St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Zarb; sons, Edward P. Zarb of Knoxville, Tenn., Douglas M. Zarb of Canton Lake, Calif., and Jeffrey S. Zarb of Farmington, Mich.; stepson, Gregory S. Lewis of Northville, Mich.; stepdaughter, Julia Temperly of Waterford, Mich.; sisters, Josephine Fiorentino of Northville, Lillian Peri of Milford, Mich., Earnie Rose of Grosse Pointe, Mich., and Carmen Cotter of Alabama; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
