Riverside Theatre presents a new adaptation of the classic holiday story, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry, November 19 to December 6. The play is adapted from the Frank Capra film, It’s A Wonderful Life.
The classic holiday film, It’s A Wonderful Life, comes to captivating life as a live 1940’s radio broadcast in this stage adaptation of one of the most beloved films of all time. Follow the story of George Bailey and the denizens of Bedford Falls in this timeless fable of dreams and the power of love. With an ensemble that showcases the film characters, this play is charming, funny and stirring, and like the film it inspired, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play celebrates life and the simple truth that little things mean more than we know. With original music by composer Ken Clifton and a cast that features some Riverside Theatre favorites, this production is a great way to start a beautiful holiday season and the perfect show for the whole family!
