Grace I. Crosby, 98, of Sebastian, passed away of natural causes on April 18, 2016.
She is survived by her son Thomas G. Crosby of Sebastian; daughter Lynne Crosby Greene (Myron), Roswell, Ga.; grandsons and wives: Michael John Greene (Melissa Hill), of Pinecrest, Fla., and Matthew William Greene (Veron Tee), of Marietta, Ga.; great-grandchildren Annabella V. Greene and Atticus James Greene, of Pinecrest, Fla.; niece Kathryn Throckmorton of Carlino, Fresno, Calif., and other nieces and nephews in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Irving Throckmorton and Ruth Stevenson Throckmorton Windfeldt, of Westfield, N.J.; ex-husband Thomas G. Crosby, of Roanoke, Va.; sister Barbara (Bill) of Sexton, Fla.; brothers Robert Throckmorton (Iolene), of Fresno, Calif., and William Throckmorton (Sally) of Orlando.
Crosby was born on Dec. 13, 1917, in Westfield, N.J. She lived on Hillcrest Ave. and attended Kent Place School, graduating from Westfield High School.
She moved to Dekalb and Fulton Counties, Ga., residing in Buckhead, Ga., before moving to Florida. She was a homemaker and pianist capable of playing any song by ear.
A celebration of life/memorial service will be held at a later date in Miami.
