VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach High School Sailing Team, hosted by the Youth Sailing Foundation (YSF) of Indian River County, received their year end awards and varsity letters Wednesday May 20, at the YSF facility on Indian River Blvd.
Eight of the 15 who attended won Letters (Alden Findley, Jarrod Smith, Jordan de la Concepcion, Josiah Evaristo, Malea Terry, Nick Keller, Vyktorya Archer and Wendy Walter-Cano), all won an award for participation.
There were 10 who could not be at the ceremony where parents were invited to attend. Coach Devon Conde, Vero Beach High School teacher Jennifer Adams, YSF instructors George Hinman and Don Resser, YSF founders Charlie & Chris Pope were all present.
