Donald Jaquish, 82, died Aug. 21, 2012, at Kindred Hospital-Melbourne.
He was born in Elton, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian for 24 years, coming from his birthplace.
He owned and operated a dairy farm in New York State for 40 years until his retirement in 1988.
He was a member of the American Dairy Farmers Association, of which he was county secretary for four years.
After his retirement, he worked for Wal-Mart and Scotty’s.
He was a member of the Community Baptist Church, Roseland.
He was a member of the Delevan Grange at local, state and national levels.
He served as town supervisor for the town of Freedom, N.Y., for 12 years.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jaquish, of Sebastian; son, Donald D. Jaquish Jr., of Thomasville, N.C.; daughters, Jackie Snodgrass, of Tracy, Calif., and Lisa Ullery, of Port St. Lucie; brother, Ronald Jaquish, of Arcade, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Ward.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Sept. 1 at Community Baptist Church, Roseland with the Rev. Ron Barber, officiating.
Interment will be in Elton Cemetery.
