Winifred Mae Strauss, 86, died April 5, 2012, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in West Leisenring, Pa., and lived in Sebastian for 10 years, coming from Ormond Beach.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
She was a volunteer with Halo Pet Rescue in Sebastian.
Survivors include her several siblings.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William Earl Strauss.
