Mildred Barbara DeNardo, 88, of Sebastian, died on Monday, April 11, 2011, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Somerville, N.J., and moved to Florida in 1968.
She lived in Lakeland for 39 years before moving to Sebastian.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Mildred was a self employed seamstress and was a member of the Sebastian Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her five children Mark DeNardo (Mary), of Lakeland, Robert DeNardo (Lynne), of Boise, Idaho, Diane Kontak (John), of Sebastian, Norma Clutter (Chris), of Grove City, Ohio, and Paul DeNardo (Leala), of Mulberry; fourteen grandchildren Melissa, Miranda, Garrett, Robin, Steven, Ashley, Courtney, Andrew, Caleigh, Angela, Nicholas, Justin, Jacob and Madison; 13 great-grandchildren Cailou, Amelia, Anthony, Elizabeth, Oliver, Finn, Anthony, Ethan, Heidi, Eli, Devin, Layla and Bentley; two sisters Dorothy Barnett (David), of Lakeland and Amy Boggus (Robert), of Seffner and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony DeNardo and daughter Barbara DeNardo.
No services are scheduled.
