Joni Walters Talbert, 70, died Jan. 7, 2011, at the VNA/Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach since 1955, coming from Long Island, N.Y.
She was a registered sales assistant with Wells Fargo, Prudential Securities and E.F. Hutton in Vero Beach.
She served as chairperson of Teen Age Republicans of Indian River County in the early 1970s and was president of the Beachland Elementary School PTA.
Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Dale Talbert, of Vero Beach; daughters, Elizabeth Siebert, of Vero Beach and Melissa Lynn Zammit, of Nassau, Bahamas; sons, David Siebert, of Port St. Lucie and Patrick Rhett Siebert, of Orlando; stepdaughters, Angie Kohtala, of Maine and Heather Talbert, of Boulder, Colo.; stepsons, Sam Talbert, of Cabo, Mexico, and Bill Talbert, of Ocala; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Walters Jr.; sisters, Helen Cannon and Doris Walters; and stepson, Peter Talbert.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Interment will be private.
Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
