VERO BEACH — The Garden Club of Indian River County presents “Waldo’s Way” a Home Standard Flower Show to be held on March 27 and 28 at the historic and eclectic homestead of Elsebeth & Waldo Sexton. The property is located at 5020 12th Street, VB.
11 classes of 44 original flower designs created by members of the garden club and inspired by Waldo’s vision for Vero including McKee Jungle Garden, The Driftwood Inn, Ocean Grill and The Patio Restaurant.
The public is invited to enter the horticulture division. To pre register your plants mail a description including names of plants and your contact information to Cindy D’Amico, GC of IRC 2526 17 Ave, VB 32960
$10 entry fee gives you a unique opportunity to visit this private, historic home that remains unchanged since Elsebeth & Waldo’s time; their unique collection remains intact today.
