Ruth Barbara Tillman, 84, Port St. Lucie
February 3, 1942 – March 8, 2026
Ruth Barbara Tillman, 84, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. She was born on February 3, 1942, in Rahway, New Jersey, to John Henry Watson and Asenath Watson.
During her teenage years, Ruth lived with her beloved aunt, Ruth, and uncle Harold, who helped guide and support her through those important years of her life.
Ruth met the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Buddy Tillman, after moving to Stuart, Florida. Their story began in high school when Ruth was a sophomore and Buddy a junior. Interestingly, they had unknowingly crossed paths earlier in life at the same Methodist church camp—there is even a photograph that proves it. Buddy often shared that he was first drawn to Ruth because he knew she had lost her parents, but as he got to know her, he quickly fell deeply in love with her kind heart and strong spirit.
Ruth and Buddy were married on January 27, 1962, beginning a beautiful marriage that lasted 64 years. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and adventure. They first lived in Stuart, Florida, and later moved to Port St. Lucie, where they welcomed the first of their four children. Their family grew with the births of Larry (Karen), Steve (Terry), Mike (Shawn), and Suzanne. After Mike was born, the family moved to Vero Beach, Florida, where Ruth and Buddy owned and operated a gas station until 1983. During that time, Ruth also managed the U-Haul business and was recognized as the top seller in the state of Florida for two years.
In 1983, the family began a new adventure when they moved to Yankeetown, Florida, where they operated the Yankeetown Boat Company together. They remained there until 2000, when Ruth and Buddy moved back to Port St. Lucie, reconnecting with many dear friends and continuing to enjoy the life they had built together.
Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Buddy Tillman; her four children, Larry (Karen), Steve (Terry), Mike (Shawn), and Suzanne; five grandchildren, Chris (Devyn), Brandle, Morgan, Zach, and Maddux; and four great-grandchildren, Colton, Cammie, Aubree, and Hudson. She was also excitedly awaiting the arrival of another great-grandchild, as her grandson Brandle and his wife, Courtney are expecting their third baby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Watson and Asenath Watson, and her sisters, Kay and Lois. Ruth’s life was full of stories, laughter, resilience, and love. Those who knew her could share memories for days—stories of her strength, her dedication to family, and the many adventures she and Buddy shared together. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished and the countless memories they hold dear.
In lieu of flowers, Buddy and family would appreciate you donating to canine.org for Canines for Companions.

Margaret Ann Ginsburg, 80
November 7, 1945 – March 2, 2026
Margaret Ann Ginsburg passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026 in Orlando, Florida.
Margie as she was lovingly known throughout her life, was born on November 7, 1945 in Nassau, Bahamas the second child of Blake & Mae (Russell) Key. The Key Family moved from their tropical, island, Bahamian home to Miami, Florida when Margie was a young girl. After attending high school, she took classes at Miami Dade College. Margie’s dream was to become a flight attendant. However, she knew that she needed to be a bit older in order to achieve her goal. So, after busying herself with college classes long enough, she took the steps to become a flight attendant taking her first job with Northeast Airlines. She worked as a flight attendant for 31 years retiring with Delta Airlines in 1998.
On December 17, 1975, Margie was wed to the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Anthony Ginsburg. While flying the skies, she became a mother. She handled both jobs flawlessly and adored both of her beautiful children.
Retirement did not slow her down. She enjoyed being a gracious hostess at Ruby Tuesday’s as well as working at the make-up counter in a local department store using the skills she developed as a flight attendant no doubt.
When Margie was not shopping, you would find her socializing or having lunch with her favorite guy, husband Bob.
