LRJF Summer Writing Camp

Summer Creative Writing Camp Offered

For Middle schoolers who like to tell stories and students who would like to become better writers, the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation offers a week-long camp on the Mueller Campus of IRSC.  Students entering grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 will come for a week of fun-filled activities: nature journaling, pottery, poetry, historic tours and more. Certified teachers will emphasize creative writing skills and presentation, and Librarians at Brackett Library will help with library cards.

Camp sessions meet 9-2 each day. Three opportunities to sign up: June 21-25, June 28-July 2, July 5-9.  Enrollment is limited to twelve students per session. Cost per child is $150. Siblings pay half. Do ask about the available Scholarships.

For further information contact the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation at lrjf.org.

The camp is partially underwritten by Quail Valley Charities, LRJF and made possible with the cooperation of the Brackett Library at IRSC.
