The City of Port St. Lucie, in partnership with Archer Western Contractors, hosted a job fair last week at the Civic Center to hire workers for the Crosstown Parkway Extension Project. By ensuring job opportunities are provided to local residents, the city is keeping the economic benefits associated with the project close to home.
Participating employers included the City of Port St. Lucie, the Florida Department of Transportation’s Construction Career Consultant, Ranger Construction, CareerSource Research Coast, LF Staffing, Overland Contracting, Felix Associates of Florida, Inc. and Express Employment Professionals. Representatives from FDOT’s OnBoard4Jobs Construction Careers Program were also at the event.
The Crosstown Parkway Extension Project will connect the existing Crosstown Parkway with U.S. 1 at Village Green Drive.
