Deputies searching for woman wanted on theft charges

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Deputies are asking for the public’s help in locating a 38-year-old woman who is wanted on several charges, including grand theft.

Ronalda Williams, of the 8400 block of 63rd Avenue, has an active warrant for her arrest, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office. Williams is being sought for charges of third-degree grand theft, two counts of dealing in stolen property and two counts of giving false information to a pawnbroker.

Details on the incident that led to the warrant were not immediately available.

Deputies said Williams could be staying at another residence between Wabasso and Fort Pierce in St. Lucie County. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Williams should contact sheriff’s Detective Greg Farless at 772-978-6101.
