INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A 73-year-old man found with more than two dozen bags of crack cocaine and marijuana in his vehicle in February, was arrested Monday, deputies said.

The man – identified as Forrest Mays – admitted to deputies he regularly sells drugs, reports show.
Deputies arrested Mays, of the 1300 block of 20th Avenue, on charges of sale manufacture delivery of cocaine and sale or possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Mays was released Monday from the Indian River County Jail on $15,000 bond.
Indian River County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy pickup about 3 p.m. Feb. 14 in the 1200 block of U.S. 1. Deputies ordered the driver, later identified as Mays, and the passenger, a woman, out of the vehicle after deputies smelled marijuana, reports show.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found 22 small bags of cocaine and seven bags of marijuana, authorities said. They also discovered a .32 caliber Davies Industries handgun along with ammunition, and $872 in cash, reports show.
Deputies arrested Mays on a warrant and took him to the county jail. Mays has an arraignment at 8:45 a.m. June 7, court records show.
