VERO BEACH, Fla. – VNA Hidden Treasures, the thrift shop benefiting VNA Hospice, has honored VNA & Hospice Foundation Board Member and longtime VNA supporter Carol Kanarek with Carol’s Corner, a special section of the store featuring boutique items.
Carol’s Corner was created to recognize Kanarek’s years of service and leadership with the VNA. The idea was proposed by VNA co-founder Ann Marie McCrystal.
“Carol has given so much to the VNA, and this was a wonderful way to honor her,” McCrystal said.
Kanarek has been involved with the VNA for decades and was instrumental in bringing the idea of a VNA thrift shop to the organization.
Proceeds from VNA Hidden Treasures support VNA Hospice and help provide care and comfort to patients and their families. The store also gives community members an opportunity to donate gently used items and shop while supporting VNA Hospice services and programs.
