Indian River County, FL – The Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Office announces that sample ballots for the August 18 Primary Election are being mailed to registered voter households this week.
Before heading to the polls, take a few minutes to review your sample ballot. It provides a convenient preview of the official ballot you’ll receive, allowing you to familiarize yourself with the races and candidates before voting in-person. Your sample ballot also includes polling place locations, early voting information, and an explanation of Florida’s closed primary election system. Reviewing your sample ballot in advance can help you vote with confidence and make your voting experience quicker and easier.
Supervisor of Elections Leslie Rossway Swan encourages voters to review their sample ballot carefully before heading to the polls. “Sample ballots help voters make informed choices and plan ahead. We recommend marking your sample ballot in advance and bringing it with you when you vote,” said Swan.
Sample ballots are also available online by visiting www.VoteIndianRiver.gov and clicking on the “My Sample Ballot” link.
