Lillian Kattan, 87, Vero Beach

March 21, 1936 – June 19, 2023

Lillian Kattan, the love of my life passed away peacefully on June 19, 2023. Together for 29 years, everyday was Christmas and every night New Year’s Eve.

Lilly was born in Brooklyn, NY and worked as a secretary for years before moving to Miami forty years ago. She worked for The Jewish Federation in Miami for many years before retiring.

We enjoyed Broadway shows, going on vacation and most of all each other’s company.

She was the strongest person in spirit I ever knew.  Besides being beautiful with beautiful green eyes, she was just as beautiful on the inside too.

We moved to Vero 3 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elvira Azrak, her father Nathan Azrak and her sister Sara Kattan.

Survivors include her husband, John Marks III, and sister Shirley Kattan.

Donations may be made in Lillian’s name to Temple Beth Shalom in Vero Beach.

Her many charities include: American Friends of Magen David Adom, American Technion Society, Alzhelmer’s Association, The Hadassah Foundation and Temple Beth Shalom.

There will be a Graveside Service on June 21, 2023 at 9am at Beth El Memorial Park.

She will be greatly missed by her family and will be in my heart forever.
