December 17, 1929 – January 23, 2022

Marjorie Ann Jocham of Vero Beach, FL – 92, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida.

Marge was born in Jersey City, the youngest of eleven children. She spent her early years there and in Staatsburg, NY, her family’s country house.  Marge was a proud graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Hoboken, NJ in 1948.  After High School she attended The Laboratory Institute of Fashion Merchandise and went onto work at Chase National Bank in NYC.

Marge married the love of her life, Bob, on November 20, 1954, and started their family of 8 children soon after. She, Bob, and the family led an active lifestyle including skiing around the world from their base camps in the Berkshires and Vail, Colorado. A full supporter of her husband’s sporting and business interests, Marge and Bob traveled across the country and around the world.

After her 8 children were grown and settled, Marge was able to pursue two other loves: the sun and the beach. This led her to Florida; first to Satellite Beach and ultimately to Vero Beach. She spent her winters there and summers up in Malden Bridge, NY.  Marge, always the social butterfly, loved having lots of visitors, and spending time with family — especially when any of her 17 grandchildren came to visit. Wherever Marge was, she loved her long walks, taking her grandchildren (and children) for lots of ice cream and soaking up the sun.

Marge was a communicant at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL and St. Mary’s in Nassau, NY.

Marge is survived by seven of her children; their spouses and children below; as well as 11 great grandchildren.

Born on December 31, 1927 in New York City to William Henry and Flora Ros Davis, he was raised in Scarsdale, NY along with his brother, William Ros (predeceased in 2018). Dick attended Scarsdale High School where he discovered an affinity for the sciences; he majored in Chemistry at Cornell University and received his M.B.A from Harvard Business School. Dick was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a superlative intellect, sparkling sense of humor, an easy grin and a kindness of spirit that will be greatly missed by all.
