Suspected hit-run driver found following crash that injured woman

ROSELAND — The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office has found the driver of a vehicle that fled from a crash Friday evening.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the driver and details were not immediately available. Sheriff’s Office spokesman Major Sgt. Eric Flowers said that investigators were still working on their report, which is expected sometime Monday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a woman was injured around 7:30 p.m. Friday in a crash located in the 12800 block of Roseland Road in northern Indian River County. She was taken to Sebastian River Medical Center for treatment.

Neither her condition, nor identity was not released.
