Lenora Harrell Barber, 78, Roseland
Lenora Harrell Barber, 78, of Roseland, died Nov. 28, 2017 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. She was born in Arcadia, Fla., on June 3, 1939, and lived in the Roseland area since childhood.
She retired as a teacher’s assistant in the Indian River School district.
Lenora was a member of Roseland United Methodist Church, Roseland.
Survivors include her husband, Howard R. Barber; daughters, Casie White, Jenny Ard and Cindy Tilton; son, Aubrey Lee Barber; step-son, Howard R. Barber, Jr.; and step-daughters, Jennifer Grice, Rebecca Linthal, Deborah Linthal; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
James F. Dalton, 74, Vero Beach
James F. Dalton, 74, of Vero Beach, passed away Nov. 28, 2017. He was born Aug. 2, 1943.
A service will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Kathryn Denver, Vero Beach
Kathryn “Kitty” Denver, daughter of William W. and Isabella Robinson, and step daughter of Mary Robinson passed away peacefully, at home, on Nov. 28, 2017, surrounded by family and friends. Born in South Carolina, Kitty lived in Philadelphia, Pa., Ocean City, N.J., and Vero Beach, Fla.
Kitty was a member of the Woman’s Club of Vero Beach, The Indian River County Garden Club and The Red-Hat Society. She volunteered in hospitals and charitable organizations throughout her life. She will be remembered by family and friends as a strong woman, who lived a full and happy life through her many endeavors with all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Boyle, of Vero Beach, Sharon Denver (Mark) Brossman, of Palm City; and son, Edward J. Denver, of Allentown, Pa.; grandchildren, Thomas, John, Edward M., Christina, Teddy, and Katie; and her great-grandson, Chase Brossman, the sparkle of her eye.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Denver.
A future Celebration of Life will be announced.
Rhoda Joan Haber Lewis, 85, Vero Beach
Rhoda Joan Haber Lewis, 85, of Vero Beach, passed away surrounded by family on Nov. 22, 2017 at VNA Hospice House. She was born Sept. 13, 1932, in Yonkers, N.Y.
Her love for art and gardening remained a passion throughout her life, enchanting and enriching all she encountered. Literature, music, poetry and the arts infused her world and she enjoyed sharing the beauty that brought her so much pleasure.
Whether it was teaching children to make puppets, taking teens on adventures, cooking up big family dinners or cultivating spectacular orchids and luscious melons, she poured her love into whatever she did and encouraged others to live their dreams.
She graduated from Miami High School in 1950 and Hunter College in 1971. Before her marriage to Herb Dlugatch Lewis in 1952, she was a flight attendant for PanAm and Eastern Airlines and later taught art in Carmel, N.Y.
She is survived by her brother Wallace Haber; children, Shanna Lewis (husband, Brett Mach), Jeff Lewis and Seth Racusen; and grandchildren, Ryan Lewis (wife, Elena Zaurova), Samantha Lewis, Jesse Racusen and Rachel Racusen (husband, Max Gleischman).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita Friedman and Sol Haber; brothers, Howard Haber and Melvin Haber; sister, Beverly Keesler; and infant daughter, Dina Giselle Lewis.
