VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Police Department is offering a free radKIDS class July 25 through July 29.
The class will be available for 5- to 7-year-old kids from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and 8- to 12-year-old kids from 2 to 4 p.m.
Students are required to attend all classes. They must wear sneakers or tennis shoes, pants, and a shirt every day of class. No flip-flops, dresses, or jewelry is permitted.
The Vero Beach Police Department will hold the class at 1055 20th Street, Vero Beach, and 4401 41st Street, Vero Beach.
Through radKIDS training, children become empowered and learn to replace the fear, confusion, and panic of dangerous situations with confidence, personal safety skills, and self-esteem.
