VNA marks 25 years of celebrating loved ones lost with “Trees of Remembrance”

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — For the first time, the VNA is proud to honor lost loved ones in the community with a Tree of Remembrance in two locations. This holiday season now through Dec. 28, a Tree of Remembrance will be at VNA Hospice’s Hidden Treasures thrift stores at both their Vero Beach and Sebastian locations.

The Tree of Remembrance allows visitors to honor loved ones lost by decorating the tree with an angel card displaying the name of their loved one.

For 25 years, VNA Hospice has offered the Tree of Remembrance as a community service at no cost, however, donations are appreciated and gratefully accepted. In addition to decorating the Trees of Remembrance at Hidden Treasures locations, visitors will have the opportunity to order a beautiful memorial ornament that can be personalized in memory of their loved one.

All proceeds from Hidden Treasures thrift stores, the Trees of Remembrance, and ornaments ordered by visitors help provide care to patients and families in Indian River County coping with life-limiting illnesses.

The Vero Beach store is located at 656 21st Street, and the Sebastian store is located at 11646 US Highway 1.
