Claire B. Thibeault, 84, of Vero Beach, passed away peacefully on Oct. 5, 2015, at the Grace Rehabilitation Center.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Marty Chartier of Chicopee, Mass.; her daughter Nicole Descheneaux of Bristol, Conn.; brother and sister-in law Fredrick and Christa Bibeau of Vero Beach; and sisters-in-law Kathy Bibeau of Alexandria, Va., and Gretchen Bibeau of Port St. Lucie.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Duffy and Leonard Thibeault, and three of her brothers, Jean, Alexander, and Donat Bibeau.
Formerly of Connecticut and Massachusetts, Thibeault retired to Vero Beach to be closer to family members. She was a long-time communicant at the St. John of the Cross church.
For many years, Thibeault was a licensed beautician then retired from the Union Carbide Company and took up residence at Heron Cay in Vero Beach. She was a cat-lover and enjoyed needlecrafts and painting among other quiet pursuits. She valued time spent with her friends and family and will be missed by all who knew her.
