Helen Dees Laster, 85, of Roseland, passed away on Oct. 12, 2015, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She is survived by her sons Robert Laster (Barbara) of Vero Beach, Ray Laster (Barbara) of Malabar and Rocky Laster (Virginia) of Roseland; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Amelia, Lorena and brother Bill.
She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Laster, son Arthur Laster, daughter Joy Laster Smith, sisters Ella Mae and Myrtle, brothers Roy and Sam.
Laster was born in Auburndale, Fla. and lived in Roseland since 1993 after moving from Wabasso.
She was formerly employed by United Indian River Packers and was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at Strunk Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. on Friday Oct. 16, 2015 at the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow in Winter Beach Cemetery.
