VERO BEACH — Riverside Racquet Complex in Vero Beach is kicking off the US Open with an evening of adult activities, round robin tennis and drills with tennis Pro Ken MacDougall. MacDougall will be teaching double’s strategy on Court #6 while the other players are playing in the Round Robin.
Light refreshments and prize giveaways will be provided. This event takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Check in is at 5 p.m. Pre-registration is required for this event and the registration deadline is Monday, Aug. 24. A maximum of 24 spaces are available. The fees are $11 for members and $14 for non-members.
For an evening of fun on the courts stop by the tennis pro-shop and sign up. All levels are welcome from beginners to advanced players. Those who cannot participate are encouraged to stop by and check out all the action on the courts. Riverside offers a wide variety of tennis programs. Monday through Friday, 9:30 to 11 a.m. is Round Robin play. Sign up a week in advance on Tuesday’s at 8:30 a.m.
