Shelly Scheflin, 47, of Vero Beach, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2015.
She is survived by her children Marshall Scheflin of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Macy Scheflin of Fort Lauderdale, and Aspen Scheflin of Pembroke Pines; parents Susan and Robert C. Onderlinde, Sr. of Vero Beach; and brother Robert Onderlinde of Vero Beach.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Shane Onderlinde in 2012.
Scheflin was born on Aug. 22, 1967 to Susan and Robert C. Onderlinde, Sr. in Goshen, Ind. She grew up in Fort Lauderdale and graduated from North Eastern High School in 1988. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for the last eight years coming from Fort Lauderdale.
She was a Christian by faith, loved music and sports and will be sadly missed by her family, friends and children.
A Celebration of Shelly’s Life will be celebrated at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Tabernacle Ministries, 51 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach, FL 32962.
