INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Florida Department of Transportation’s Safe Mobility for Life Coalition is sponsoring a safety and mobility fair aimed at seniors in the community. The fair is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Vero Beach Community Center.
The “Safety is Golden Mobility Fair” is a free interactive event with state and local vendors sharing transportation safety, mobility resources, and information. There will be indoor booths, give-a-ways, driver safety information, and much more.
As part of the fair, there will be a CarFit Safety Event. This free event provides trained technicians to help people find comfort and safety in their own vehicle. To register for the CarFit Safety Event, call (850) 410-5645.
