Golf tournament to benefit Children’s Home Society of Florida March 19

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Champions for Children Golf Tournament is the premier fundraising event that benefits Children’s Home Society of Florida along the Treasure Coast.

Guests will enjoy a day of golf followed by cocktails and awards.

The tournament will be held Thursday March 19, 2015, at the Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach, with registration beginning at 1 p.m., and a shotgun start at 2 p.m. Tickets sell for $250 ($178 is tax deductible).

Each year, Children’s Home Society of Florida helps more than 11,000 children and family members along the Treasure Coast. As guests enjoy a fun-filled day of golf and cocktails, their support will help Children’s Home Society of Florida continue to protect more children from the tragedies of abuse and neglect, heal the pain of those who have suffered, guide teens to transition successfully into adulthood and create and strengthen families in the community.
