The Hibiscus Children’s Village provides a long-term home environment for teens, ages 13 to 17 years, where they receive nurturing, love and encouragement in a family-like atmosphere. In addition, teens participate in The Career Pathways to Independence Program which directly confronts the educational challenges of foster youth. This program provides the teens with the support, structure, and guidance they need to receive a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, youth ages 15 – 17 are involved in career mentoring, training and preparation. The program is structured to engage youth in expanding their education and learning experiences, think critically about the future, and build skills for adulthood.
